The Czech real estate and management company RC Europe is set to open two NEST retail parks in Romania in 2020. 

The new developments are located in the cities of Oradea and Miercurea Ciuc. Their upcoming openings will further expand RC Europe’s NEST retail park brand in southeast Europe. 

Besides Romania, the company operates two NEST retail parks in Serbia, where it also plans to develop new projects this year. 

NEST RETAIL PARK IN ORADEA

Construction works on the NEST retail park in Oradea started in October 2019. 

Located on Calea Borșului Street in the northern part of the city, the retail park has a rentable area of 6,400 sqm. 

It will offer 13 retail stores of local and international brands, including Sportsimo, JYSK, KIK, PEPCO, CCC, dm, and Zoomania. 

NEST RETAIL PARK IN MIERCUREA CIUC 

The new retail park is currently under construction on Iancu de Hunedoara Street in Miercurea Ciuc in the Romanian Harghita County. 

Stretching across 11,579 sqm, the project will comprise of 22 retail units. 

NEST Miercurea Ciuc will be anchored by a Lidl supermarket, while its tenant mix will include Deichmann, Altex, LC Waikiki, Takko Fashion, JYSK, Martes Sport, Orsay, CCC, Noriel, Tabac Xpress and Zoo Center. 

In addition, the project will host the first KFC drive-through restaurant in this part of Romania. 

RC EUROPE IN ROMANIA 

At present, RC Europe operates one retail park project in Romania, NEST Dorohoi. 

With a rentable area of 3,187 sqm, NEST Dorohoi offers six retail stores occupied by Deichmann, Takko, KIK, PEPCO, JYSK, and Altex. 

The project opened in 2017 and its second phase of development was completed in spring 2019, bringing a new Takko Fashion store.
