PRIMARK TO OPEN 18 NEW STORES IN 2020

After recording strong sales in the past two months, Primark is planning to add new stores to fuel its international growth. The expansion includes entries into new markets, such as Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

New stores will also open within its existing markets. Primark is still in negotiation for 8 of the new outlets but confirmed 10 locations which include:

  • Trafford Centre, Manchester
  • Mons, Belgium
  • American Dream, New Jersey
  • Lens, Noyelles SC, France
  • Strasbourg, France
  • Paris Thais
  • Paris Plaisir
  • Rome (South) – Bellavita
  • Barcelona – Plaça de Catalunya, Spain
  • Warsaw – Galeria Młociny
  • Berlin Gropius, Germany

PRIMARK EXPANSION IN CENTRAL & EASTERN EUROPE

The first Primark store in Poland is set to open this spring in Warsaw and a lease agreement has been signed for a store in Poznan.

The budget-friendly retailer also announced its upcoming entry into Slovakia, its 15th market, and the 4th country in Central and Eastern Europe. The first Slovak store will be located within Eurovea shopping center in Bratislava.  

In addition to Slovakia, Primark is also planning to make its debut in the Czech Republic, opening a store on the famous Wenceslas Square in Prague. 

PRESENCE IN SOUTHEAST EUROPE 

The first and only Primark store in southeast Europe is located within CITYPARK Ljubljana, Slovenia’s largest shopping center operated by SES Spar European Shopping Centers.
