Three years after its market entry in Kosovo and the opening of the first modern cinema in Pristina, the leading Austrian cinema operator Cineplexx has opened a brand new multiplex in Prizren.
THE SECOND CINEMA IN KOSOVO
The opening ceremony of the new cinema in Galeria Shopping Mall was held in the presence of the mall’s operators, Cineplexx representatives, and local partners. Escref Memaj, the Deputy Mayor of Prizren, was also there.
Hundreds of film fans gathered to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter for culture and entertainment in Prizren.
CHRISTIAN LANGHAMMER, OWNER AND CEO OF CINEPLEXX, SAID IN HIS OPENING SPEECH.
“We invested more than 4 million EUR in this project to ensure the development of a state-of-the-art cinema experience for our visitors”.
Milazim Salihu, Director of Cineplexx Kosovo, stated that Prizren was chosen because it is the cultural center of Kosovo, as well as due to its proximity to Albania, where Cineplexx is already present.
THE VERY BEST CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE
The new cinema venue offers 5 modern halls with more than 700 seats. It is equipped with the newest technology, including ultra-modern phosphor projects that provide sharp, high-contrast images.
Besides cutting-edge visuals, visitors can enjoy special VIP seats as well as love boxes offering a high level of comfort.
CINEPLEXX – THE MARKET LEADER IN SOUTHEAST EUROPE
Since starting its expansion in the region in 2009, Cineplexx has become the leader in the entertainment market in SEE.
