The Body Shop Enters the Serbian Market

The Body Shop, a global cosmetics and skincare retailer from the UK, will open its first store in Serbia within Ada Mall in Belgrade. The new store opening is scheduled for the 24th of May.

Inside the new store in Ada Mall customers will be able to find a wide range of high quality make-up, skincare and hair care products adored by beauty lovers worldwide.

The Body Shop, is just one out of several other newcomer brands that will debut their flagship stores this week within Ada Mall.  Other newcomer brands include Kiehl’s, Piazza Italia and Lee Cooper. Moreover, the new mall will also house the first CineStar cinema in Belgrade.

THE BODY SHOP CONTINUES ITS EXPANSION IN SOUTH EAST EUROPE

Established in 1996, The Body Shop, is a leading international brand with a growing consumer base.

In June 2018, the retailer started its retail and online expansion in Bulgaria and Slovenia. Besides opening physical stores the company also launched in both countries e-commerce websites, in order to follow its global multi-channel strategy.

Its first stores in Bulgaria opened in Sofia within shopping centers The Mall and Paradise Center.

In Slovenia, the chain currently operates two standalone stores, located within Supernova Rudnik and Europark Maribor .

In South East Europe, The Body Shop, is present in Romania with seven stores and an e-commerce website.

The expansion of a major brand such as The Body Shop, confirms that South East Europe is a growing market for beauty retailers. Among the major international brands active in the region are MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, Inglot, NYX Professional Makeup, Lush, Yves Rocher and L’Occitane.
