Westgate Shopping City in Croatia celebrated the opening of Calliope Fashion and Aurora Jewelry & Watches!

Aurora Jewelry & Watches, a new brand from the widely known family of jewelers Petecin, launched their first shop in Zagreb’s Westgate Shopping City, the largest shopping mall in the European Union.
The shop occupies 100 sqm and offers metal, silver, and gold custom made jewelry, popular brands of watches, and jewelry made out of amber.
Its brand portfolio includes Superdry, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Daniel Wellington, Ted Baker, Seiko, Seiko Premier, Casio Edifice, Michael Kors, and others.
Denis Cupic, the Head of Asset Management of Westgate said during Aurora’s opening:
“Despite the pandemic, the launching of Aurora’s shop is our fifth shop launching since the end of the lockdown. Aurora is a great asset to our fashion cluster and I’m sure that their unique jewelry will be interesting to our visitors”.
Petecin family has been in the jewelry business for almost 30 years. They are known for unique silver and gold jewelry and Aurora is their second brand in Westgate Shopping City.
Calliope Fashion for Men, Women, and Children
Calliope, an Italian fashion brand by Gruppo Teddy, has occupied 600 sqm with Westgate to offer trendy affordable fashion for the whole family. This is the brand’s second store in the Zagreb area and the first one located inside a shopping mall.
“We are glad to become the first shopping mall in Croatia to house the Calliope brand. Gruppo Teddy is an internationally respected retailer and it is a great feeling knowing that they have recognized what Westgate offers, especially in times like these”, stated Denis Cupic.
Denis Cupic also added that Westgate is welcoming new tenants of all categories:
We are on a constant search for new retailers that will be an interesting addition to our tenant mix. We already have a strong offer in fashion, home products, and kid’s shops, as well as in leisure facilities – so we are inviting retailers of all categories to pitch us if they are seeking a great new destination for a store opening.
Calliope is present with stores in more than 20 countries, including Italy, Russia, Egypt, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, the Czech Republic. Their stores are located on high streets and in shopping centers, with average store surfaces between 500 and 750 sqm.
More Store Openings Coming Soon
Despite the pandemic, Calliope was the sixth opening at Westgate Shopping City since May. The mall has signed three new lease agreements and is expecting more store openings in the upcoming weeks.
