VIVO! Baia Mare shopping center in Romania celebrated this month the reopening of one-third of its retail space, welcoming LIDL supermarket and more than ten new stores. The total investment in refurbishment was over 7 million EUR.
From the 18th November, the ground floor of VIVO! Baia Mare reopened presenting a new state-of-the-art shopping and leisure area. Visitors of VIVO! Baia Mare were invited to discover new stores and enjoy shopping breaks in new indoor cafรฉs.

New Store Openingsย
New stores include Lidl, La Casa, Colin’s, DeFacto, KIK, Hervis Sports, Sport Vision, TEILOR, Sabrini, English Home, Nordpharm, and DR Green.
At the same time, new store concepts were introduced by existing tenants Flanco, Animax, dm, OPTIblu and Sizeer.
The reopening was celebrated with a NEWER FOR YOU campaign, inviting visitors who possess a green certificate to a festive atmosphere with good music, balloons, and many other surprises.
Health and Safety a Priority
At VIVO! the safety of visitors and employees in the shopping center is a top priority. The cleaning staff continuously ensures sanitation and disinfection of the surfaces with which visitors come into contact, all this being monitored every hour.
Dispensers with hand sanitizing solutions have also been installed in the toilet and restaurant areas. The restaurant area has been reorganized to ensure optimal spacing between tables.
