Despite the difficult times, the retail industry is facing worldwide, the Serbian shopping center Promenada Novi Sad is still reporting positive business results.

Kragujevac Plaza and Promenada Mall in Serbia, operated by NEPI Rockcastle, received certificates issued by Safe Shopping Centers, to comply with COVID-19 international security measures.

"Serbia Fashion Week", the most prestigious fashion event in the country, hosted this year a panel discussion on the topic of coronavirus and fashion, at Promenada Novi Sad shopping center.

Promenada Novi Sad is one of the largest shopping centers in Serbia, developed by NEPI Rockcastle. It has a GLA of 48,000sqm and houses over 150 stores.

Nepi Rockcastle reopened Promenada Novi Sad shopping center this weekend after a short period of closing down due to the COVID 19 government lockdown in Serbia.

NEPI Rockcastle, a leading Central and Eastern European real estate investment group, has donated this month 150,000 EUR to the Red Cross international organization to support efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 epidemic.

The second ‘Empty Shop’ project in Serbia, organized by Kragujevac Plaza shopping center, has collected nearly 3 tonnes of clothing since its opening. 

Promenada Novi Sad, the biggest shopping center in Serbia, has opened an innovative concept "The Empty Shop" in partnership with the Red Cross Vojvodina. As its name suggests, The Empty Shop features empty shelves and hangers, which will allow the mall's visitors to fill it up with donated clothing.
