Paper Bottles to Replace Plastic in 2021

Coca-Cola Company has announced that it will start selling drinks in paper bottles this summer!

The company is working with Danish startup The Paper Bottle Company to develop bottles that will be able to be recycled as paper.

Coca-Cola will first test out these bottles in Hungary, where they plan to sell online 2,000 bottles of a beverage AdeZ through the website

The goal for the future is to replace all plastic bottles with fully recyclable ones.

What does this mean for your business?

It means you will soon have to say goodbye to plastic. Recyclable bottles will replace all packaging in the near future, including makeup, cosmetics, food etc.

In 2021, retail is all about sustainability and it is pushing companies to invest in innovations that will produce more eco-friendly products and packaging. This is why we are seeing an increase of sustainable fashion clothing lines, paper bags, recycling bins in shopping centers and stores, as well as eco-friendly food products such as 3D printed alt meat!

It is time for all retail businesses to invest in sustainability.
