Douglas, one of the leading premium beauty retailers in Europe, will be opening its 34th store in Romania within Colosseum Mall. The new store will present the retailer’s newest premium store concept and will display a wide range of luxury brands of fragrances, beauty cosmetics, makeup, accessories, and lifestyle products.

“We have been interested in Colosseum Mall for a while now, due to its excellent location in North-West Bucharest. It is close to the Ring Road area which attracts not only Bucharest District 1 residents but also people living in Chitila, Mogosoaia, and Buftea neighborhoods. We believe that the current expansion of the shopping center is a perfect opportunity now to open a new Douglas store in order to be closer to our customers in this catchment zone”, stated Lavinia Ivaș, Country Manager Douglas Romania.

Douglas Business Success

In Europe, Douglas Group operates over 2.000 stores and offers an assortment of over 160.000 beauty and lifestyle products. In the past fiscal year (2020/2021), Douglas Group generated sales of 3.1 billion euros. Its physical store network and e-commerce platforms have both contributed to the good business performance of the brand during the pandemic.

“Perfumeries, beauty and health care stores are vital for our shopping center. Our strategy is to create a tenant mix that will include the most recognized and loved brands that are also performing well and are meeting the current market conditions. We are glad to welcome Douglas and to bring the most popular international beauty brands closer to Colosseum Mall’s visitors”, stated Mihai Dinu, General Manager of Colosseum Mall.
