On September 30th, 2021, the city of Prijedor became a new location for CineStar Cinemas in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the seventh CineStar Cinema in the country and the 26th in the region.
The seventh-largest town in Bosnia and Herzegovina is now the home to the country’s seventh CineStar multiplex site, in addition to the cities of Mostar, Bihac, Tuzla, Banja Luka, Zenica, and Sarajevo.
CineStar Prijedor
CineStar Prijedor, located at Prijedor’s Patria Mall, officially opened its doors to all film lovers of this region. The grand opening, held in line with pandemic measures, was attended by hundreds of visitors, proving that the new multiplex cinema will certainly become the city’s new favorite meeting point for all generations.
The city of Prijedor will be richer with three modern cinema halls offering a total of 222 comfortable seats designed by established CineStar standards, which also includes VIP and Love Box seats for a more private and relaxed experience at the cinema.
The site is equipped with all customary CineStar amenities, which include screens equipped with Barco projectors, characteristic for their outstanding image quality, amazing brightness, vivid colors, and high contrast. Two screens offer new RealD 3D systems bringing 3D image quality to a higher level, providing a truly immersive experience. All three halls will be upgraded with Crown digital amplifiers and JBL speakers, making the supreme sound experience for spectators on every seat and in every corner of the hall.
CineStar Prijedor will be showing the most current releases and box office blockbusters, while visitors will be offered the advantages of CineStarโs well-known loyalty program.
CineStar Expansion in Bosnia and Herzegovina
CineStar Cinemas is the largest multiplex cinema chain not only in Bosnia-Hercegovina but also in the region of former Yugoslavia. Its network consists of 26 multiplex sites in the region, including Prijedor, with a total of 161 digital screens and a total seating capacity of over 24,700.
CineStarโs first site in Bosnia and Herzegovina opened in 2012 in Mostar as the first-ever multiplex in the country. It was followed by CineStar Bihaฤ in 2014, CineStar Tuzla in 2016, CineStar 4DX Delta Planet Banja Luka, and CineStar Zenica in 2019, and Sarajevo 4DX Bingo City in 2020. Following the opening of the Prijedor multiplex, CineStar will have a total of 38 screens and 4,966 seats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
