Ada Mall shopping center is celebrating Japanese culture on the 12th of June, giving a chance for visitors to learn about martial arts, self-defense, and beautiful Japanese traditions.
The event is organized in collaboration with Club NIPON and the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Culture KIZUNO. It will take place at its 3rd-floor plateau next to the food court area, from 12 to 3 pm. Serbia’s celebrated karate champion Tanja Petrović will host the event.
This event will offer visitors to see live professional karate competitions and fights, and a chance to participate in mini karate schools and workshops that will introduce them to the culture of the land of the Rising Sun.
Ada Mall has prepared an opportunity for all recreational players to try their hand at karate and judo, as well as to learn more about self-defense.
For visitors who are attracted by the exotic side of Japanese culture, they will learn about the ceremony of drinking tea, making origami, writing names on a kanji, and more.
This event is an introduction to a larger humanitarian event called „Sports Fairy Tale“ that will feature 25 sports activities at Belgrade’s Kalemedan Park on the 28th of June. It is an annual humanitarian event, organized for 22 years in a row, by the karate club NIPON and the City Secretariat for Sports.
