SHOP PARK Arandjelovac has successfully secured location permits and is set to obtain the building permit this December.

According to Niksen, the developers of the Shop Park network in Serbia, construction for their new retail park in Arandjelovac is planned to commence early next year.

The grand opening is scheduled for September 2024.

The future retail park is strategically located only 3,000 meters away from the center of Arandjelovac and 1,000 meters from the future intersection of the new highway Vozd Karadjordja. It is anticipated to serve a catchment area of approx. 210.000 inhabitants, and a vast number of local and international tourists that Arandjelovac attracts every year.

Spanning 10,000 square meters, the retail park promises a diverse mix of shopping, entertainment, and services.

Making significant strides, 80% of the retail space has already been leased out. While brand names remain confidential, shoppers can anticipate a varied range of top-tier international and local brands, ensuring a diverse and enjoyable shopping experience.

Remaining 20% Opportunities

The project now aims to fill the remaining 20% with service-related tenants, reflecting a commitment to offering a complete and well-rounded tenant mix for its future visitors.

More Than Just Shopping: A Social Hub

Niksen emphasizes that SHOP PARK Aranđelovac will be more than a shopping destination. Drawing inspiration from their existing retail park in Gornji Milanovac, they recognize the changing retail scene, emphasizing the need for diverse experiences beyond traditional shopping.

For example, two restaurants located next to a children’s playground have been incorporated. These gastronomy venues were designed to allow parents to enjoy food and drinks while keeping an eye on their children during playtime.

SHOP PARK Aranđelovac will also be committed to organizing various events and campaigns. These activities will solidify the retail park as a place for social interaction, shared activities, and support for the local community.

“As a socially responsible company, we actively engage with the community and have organized multiple charitable events at our existing retail park. One of the initiatives was the recognition of the top-performing students in all schools in Gornji Milanovac, accompanied by a billboard campaign. It was a great pleasure for us to support talented young individuals, encouraging them to pursue their education with the same enthusiasm. This initiative had an exceptionally positive impact on the community”, – stated Niksen team.

Growing SHOP PARK Network

Niksen, developer and operator of Shop Park, initiated its retail park journey in 2020 in Gornji Milanovac.

In addition to SHOP PARK Aranđelovac, a new park is scheduled for Loznica in 2025. The retail park of approx. 20,000 square meters in Loznica is also close to obtaining its building permits and will be constructed next year.

Looking ahead, Niksen envisions building an additional three retail parks by 2030, expanding its network across Serbia to accommodate international brands seeking multiple locations simultaneously.
