Leading cinema operator in the region Cineplexx continues its multimillion investments in the Serbian market and will soon open the largest and most modern cinema with technology never seen before in Serbia.
The Biggest Multiplex ScreenÂ
The new cinema Cineplexx Galerija Belgrade within Belgrade Waterfront will offer the largest multiplex screen in the region – totaling the surface of 336 sqm and 24 m long, which is almost twice the size of a tennis court, as well IMAX® technology which raises the cinema experience to the highest possible level in the world.
IMAX® is a completely unique system, which consists of a number of new technologies, starting with the IMAX® camera, film format, special projector, and finally the cinema hall itself.
The giant screen and all elements of IMAX® technology will set new standards for watching movies in the country, as this technology is synonymous with crystal clear images, laser-precise sound, and a special arrangement of seats in the hall, which is built according to special criteria so that every place is the best.
The Largest Cinema in Serbia
The largest cinema in Serbia will occupy an area of over 4,000 sqm with 9 halls and more than 1,700 seats. ATMOS technology and Real D Ultimate screens will be installed in three halls, and JBL Sound Performance in the others.
Cineplexx Galerija Belgrade will also offer exceptional comfort in the form of special seats – electronic seats (VIP deluxe), sofas, Lovebox, and love seats. For the first time in Serbia, ticket machines will be set up in this cinema.

Our task is to provide the best possible conditions for such an experience in modern and well-equipped cinemas, regardless of whether the films were made in local-Serbian and regional productions or were made in various world cinematographic centers. In the current circumstances, it is necessary to send positive signals to the economy and citizens in order to continue everyday life, which includes enjoying movies in the cinema and other cultural contents, while respecting all prescribed measures.”
