Construction of Shop Park, a new retail project in the Serbian town Gornji Milanovac, is set to begin in late January with the opening scheduled for September 2020.

Plans for the development of a new shopping center are in full swing according to the investor, Bermilton Properties, which has already paid the fee for land development, thus initiating the upcoming construction project.

The planned shopping center, worth over 8 million EUR, will be built on a land plot of 2 ha, with nearly 7,000 sqm of retail space.

A MODERN LIFESTYLE DESTINATION

Shop Park will offer a total of 25 units designed to meet all the shopping and lifestyle needs of local residents and those living in the surrounding areas.

The one level mall will provide direct access from its central, free parking area with spaces for 170 vehicles.

“The citizens of Gornji Milanovac and its visitors will be able to enjoy a diverse offer provided by tenants such as MAXI, Deichmann, Koton, Lilly drogerie, TOP SHOP, Opposite Shoes, Planeta Sport, N Sport, Extreme Intimo, Mister Minit, Proteini, Exclusive Exchange and others. Besides these retail brands, the Center will also host restaurants and cafes with high-quality offers and services, for a relaxing break from shopping in a pleasant atmosphere,” stated the representatives of Bermilton Properties.

The investor also added that soon two large retailers will be added to the scheme:

“Aside from the attractive international and local brands that have been confirmed, we have reached the last stage of the negotiation with two large companies, which will begin their retail expansion in Gornji Milanovac. Our vision is to develop a new shopping, gastronomy and entertainment concept in the town by combining various benefits, unbeatable value, continuous innovations and attractions in one place.”

A BOOST FOR THE LOCAL ECONOMY

“With the support from all the institutions in Gornji Milanovac, we have managed to obtain all the necessary permits enabling us to reach the final phase of shopping center construction,” stated Bermilton Properties’ PR team.

The investor highlighted that the construction of Shop Park will create around 300 jobs. Furthermore, the shopping center is expected to employ approximately 200 workers after its opening.
