Primark Opening Date in Slovenia

PRIMARK, UK's 'value for money' fashion giant, confirmed the opening date of its first store in Slovenia within the country's largest shopping center - CITYPARK LJUBLJANA. The store is set to welcome its first visitors on the 13th of June 2019.

PRIMARK will offer a wide range of affordable women’s, men’s and children’s fashions including footwear, accessories, as well as lingerie, make up and home decor articles. PRIMARK is well known worldwide for its unbeatable prices and amazing offer, which will be a huge game changer in the regional fashion market.


CITYPARK in Ljubljana, stretching over more than 53,000 sqm, is expecting a huge increase of visitors due to PRIMARK's arrival.

CITYPARK, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2017, has more than 120 shops, cafes and restaurants, which makes it the biggest shopping center in Slovenia and the most modern shopping center in Ljubljana. It offers the most prestigious brands, provides services of the highest quality and sets fashion trends.

Last year, it had more than nine million visitors, for whom about 250 events were organized.

Citypark is one of the four shopping centers in Slovenia managed by the SES Center Management. SES shopping centers have been among the biggest sales centers in Slovenia for the tenth year in a row.

With the upcoming opening, PRIMARK will expand its presence to 12 countries and will also mark its entry in Central and Eastern Europe.

In addition to Slovenia, the retailer has signed lease agreements for new stores in Warsaw, Poland and Prague, the Czech Republic.

Currently the retail giant operates over 360 stores in eleven countries across Europe and America.

In addition to its aggressive retail expansion, PRIMARK also has a strong presence on social media, which includes a hub of user-generated content.
