The new department store is situated at no. 173 Veliki rit Street and spreads across 20,000 sqm, offering a wide range of furniture, home textiles, lighting, equipment and accessories.
The construction of the new store took eight months to complete, resulting in one of the most modern retail sites operated by the XXXLutz Group. The store has generated over 150 jobs.
The new department store was opened in the presence of Rasim Ljajić, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Igor Mirović, the President of the Government of Vojvodina, Miloš Vučević, the Mayor of Novi Sad, Aleksandar Pavićević, Director of Lesnina XXXL Serbia, Bojan Papić, Regional Director of Lesnina XXXL and Gerald Socher, Director of GIGA International.
Lesnina XXXL, department store will host the official opening for visitors on the 16th of May, featuring an entertainment program and a concert by the popular Serbian singer Zvonko Bogdan.
NEW STORES PLANNED IN SERBIA
According to Lesnina XXXL representatives, the chain has an ambitious expansion plan for the Serbian market. The new department store in Novi Sad is part of an investment cycle, which includes new store openings in Belgrade and Niš.
