Fashion Brand DiKa Makes its Debut in Serbia

By Retail SEE Group / June 5, 2019

DiKa, a Bulgarian fashion brand owned by E. Miroglio Group, opened its first outlet store in Serbia on the 31st of May.

The new store is located at the entrance to E. Miroglio’s textile factory in Pirot - the former factory "Fabrika Prvi Maj Pirot". Its opening was attended by Edoardo Miroglio, the company’s owner, and Radko Vlajkov, Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Serbia.

“This opening is a major investment in Pirot. E. Miroglio is one of the most reputable textile companies in Bulgaria with activities in several different sectors. I am pleased to see that they are expanding their business on the Serbian market, and I am confident that this new venture will build on the success of E.Miroglio’s current operations in Serbia,” stated Mr. Vlajkov at the opening.

A FAST GROWING FASHION BRAND

DiKa was founded in 1982 in Sofia, Bulgaria, as a manufacturer of women’s clothing. Today, the chain operates a network of company-owned stores in Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia and Serbia.

DiKa  is very popular in its home market, where it operates stores on exclusive locations such as Vitosha Boulevard and Serdika Center. The brand’s assortment encompasses stylish women’s apparel, footwear and accessories designed according to the latest fashion trends.

In 2017, E. Miroglio Group acquired DiKa from its Greek owners. The Group announced plans to expand the brand in France last year, in cities like Saint Etienne, Montpellier, Grenoble and Toulouse.

In Serbia, DiKa currently operates two textile companies in Pirot and Dimitrovgrad.
