Delta Planet Varna, the second largest mall in Bulgaria, will expand its offer with a new IKEA store, which is set to open in the second half of 2020.
Spreading across 8,000 sqm, the furniture giant’s new store will have a retail area of 5,400 sqm. It will be designed according to IKEA’s new concept.
The arrival of IKEA will further enhance the appeal of Delta Planet Varna for local shoppers, who will be able to purchase good quality and on-trend furniture at affordable prices.
At the moment, the Swedish powerhouse operates a single department store in Sofia, as well as an online shop and pick-up points in Varna, Burgas, and Plovdiv.

Just a couple of months before its first birthday, Delta Planet Varna was recognized as the “Commercial Building of the Year” by the jury of the prestigious ‘Building of the Year’ competition.
Since its opening, the shopping center has received multiple awards, including the “Opening of the Year” Award for its contribution to the development of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
In addition, the mall has also been praised for its exceptional marketing strategies.
MORE THAN 20 NEWCOMER BRANDS
Delta Planet Varna hosts a superb line-up of top brands for every taste and budget.
The mall has welcomed more than 20 newcomer retail and entertainment offerings, such as the first Tezenis and Brums stores in Bulgaria, and famous Italian brands Calzedonia and Yamamay, which are available in Varna for the very first time.
In terms of entertainment and gastronomy, the shopping center is home to the most modern Cinema City cinema with the only 4Dx hall in Varna, as well as the first Domino’s pizza restaurant in the city.

Spreading across 40,000 sqm of retail space, the mall is the second-largest center in Bulgaria.
Delta Planet Varna is focused on providing interactive entertainment for its visitors, featuring an entertainment zone of 4,000 sqm. The area houses the largest cinema outside Sofia and the largest toy store in the city.
