Aksa d.o.o., a Serbian specialty retailer of baby and children’s products is scheduled to open on the 15th of September its new Aksa Kids Megastore in Novi Sad, located within BIG Shopping Center on Sentandrejski Road no.11.
The new store will consist of open floor retail spaces, offering a wide range of reasonably priced clothing, footwear, sleepwear, accessories, books, furniture, gifts, cosmetics and equipment for mothers, babies and children's up to 12 years of age.
Aksa opened its first store in 1994 in Belgrade and had since then been conducting a steady expansion in the Serbian capital, as well as in other major cities.
At present, the chain operates a retail network of 14 multi-brand stores in the cities of Belgrade (five stores), Niš, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Čačak, Šabac, Zrenjanin, Kruševac and Novi Pazar. In June this year, Aksa opened a 1,000 sqm store in the Serbian town Pančevo, announcing plans to continue its expansion.
In addition to its standalone units, the retailer also runs an e-commerce website in Serbia, offering nationwide product delivery.
Aksa Kids’s brand portfolio features the renowned international labels Chicco, Pampers, Huggies, Evy Baby, Win Fun, MAM, NUK, Avent, Nuby, Nivea, Becutan, Nestle, Milupa, Hippo, Juvitana, Frutek, Nip, Graco, Maclaren, Cybex, Peg Perego, Hauck, Inglesiana, Nania, Puerri, Plebani, Dirkje, WOW and various others.
Its main competitors in Serbia include local and international retailers of children’s products such as Dexy Co Kids, Beba Kids, Carter’s, Original Marines, Mothercare, Osh Kosh, and Menda.
Aksa is the sister company of Keprom, the leading Serbian distributor of health and wellbeing products, cosmetics and children’s equipment, with a portfolio of more than 3,000 articles and over 1,570 distribution partners.
Besides Aksa, Keprom also operates the pharmacy chain K-Pharma in Serbia, which today encompasses eight pharmacies. The company employs approximately 380 people in total.
