Arena Centar Breaks Business Records

Arena Centar in Zagreb ended 2019 with record-breaking business results and attracted 10 million annual visitors.

The shopping center was expanded and refurbished in 2018. It also enhanced its offer with the opening of Arena Park last year. As a result, Arena Centar now houses all the relevant fashion, beauty, sports, and tech brands in one place.

The number of stores in the mall grows every year, with Peek & Cloppenburg, Calvin Klein Jeans, Hugo Boss, Nespresso, The Body Shop, Gap, Lacoste, Ted Baker, JYSK, CCC and KIK among its latest additions.

RECORD-BREAKING RESULTS

Despite the challenges brought about by the reconstruction of Remetinec roundabout, Arena Centar reached 10 million visits in the last year, confirming its position as the leading shopping and entertainment destination for the whole family in Croatia.

Besides footfall, the mall set another record in retail stores’ turnover. Compared to 2018, consumer spending per capita was up by 20 percent, while the overall spending increase was 11 percent.

Nataša Milašinčić, Arena Centar’s Director stated:

Last year’s double-digit growth in turnover proves that Arena Centar is still the top choice for customers in Zagreb and the wider catchment zone. We were able to achieve increased footfall and spending figures due to community support, which included not only business but various socially responsible goals. We donated 3 million HRK across multiple CSR and sustainability projects. This is in line with the business path we’ve laid for the future – to coexist with the local community in a way that goes beyond legal requirements to bring mutual benefits and satisfaction.

ARENA CENTER – A MARKET LEADER IN ZAGREB

Arena Centar, the largest shopping center in Zagreb, has welcomed numerous renowned fashion, beauty and technology brands, and implemented the latest industry standards since its opening.

The center ranks top in customer satisfaction and holds the Superbrands status, which demonstrates quality and reliability. Moreover, it also boasts 6 Qudal medals, including a medal that recognizes Arena Centar as the highest quality shopping center. An Odabrale mame award was also given to the mall for its excellence and quality

RETAIL, ENTERTAINMENT & GASTRONOMY

With more than 200 stores, Arena Centar is the leading fashion and beauty center in Zagreb and beyond. Besides retail, the mall is known for its world-class entertainment, which includes a cinema and a casino.

A host of cafes with stunning outdoor terraces and restaurants serving a variety of local and international dishes complement its offer.
