Kragujevac Plaza shopping center was opened in March 2012, and it represents the largest shopping center outside of Belgrade and the only one of its kind in the region.
The center has become the social and commercial hub within the region, offering a carefully planned tenant mix, with 100 stores .
It includes the only cinema in this part of the country, as well as entertainment facilities – bowling, archery and climbing walls.
Main anchor tenants include IDEA supermarket, Cineplexx cinema, C&A, New Yorker, Terranova, OVS, Deichmann, Home Center, Sport Vision, Fashion and Friends, Bata, McDonalds and others.
The owner of Kragujevac Plaza shopping and entertainment center is New Europe Property Investments, a commercial property company listed on the Main Board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the regulated market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Its long term focus is to hold and manage a portfolio of regionally dominant retail assets in Central and Eastern Europe.

Lilly Drogerie, Serbian health and beauty retailer, opened on the 27th of July its new store in Kragujevac, located on the corner of Atinska Street and Svetogorska Street, Serbia.
LC Waikiki, Turkish fashion retailer, opened on the 7th of June its new store within Kragujevac Plaza shopping center at Bulevar Kraljice Marije no. 56 Street, Serbia.
