STOP.SHOP Vršac, the fifth retail park in Serbia to be developed by the Austrian real estate developer IMMOFINANZ, will officially open its doors to the public on the 26th of April.
The new retail park will encompass 8,200 sqm of leasable space, offering 22 retail units. Its construction will provide a significant boost to the local economy by creating between 250 and 300 new jobs.
IMMOFINANZ opened its first retail park in the Serbian town of Čačak in 2015 and has since then developed three more STOP.SHOP retail parks in Niš, Valjevo and Lazarevac.
According to its representatives, the Austrian real estate developer plans to further expand the retail scheme in Serbia and is scheduled to open two new STOP.SHOP retail parks this year in the towns of Požarevac and Sremska Mitrovica.
STOP.SHOP is IMMOFINANZ’ s retail park brand in the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) region. Envisioned as regional shopping centers, STOP.SHOP retail parks are situated in prime locations with catchment areas of between 30,000 and 150,000 inhabitants.
Featuring good transport connections and strong local and international tenants such as CCC, Takko, Deichmann and C&A, the STOP.SHOP retail schemes target price-conscious “smart shoppers” who look for easy-to-reach locations.
At present, IMMOFINANZ operates more than 65 STOP.SHOP properties in eight countries: Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and Romania.
